The collection includes a range of fishing technologies that were discovered in ancient middens (burial sites) along the Pacific coast.
The pieces in the collection reveal the evolution of Pre-Colombian fishing technologies and methods in Northern Chile over time.
A special feature of this collection is that it includes rare tools that were used to fabricate the fishing implements.
